In 1945, Edmond and Phoebe Fells bought the James Bryan residence. Edmond
  was a carpenter. They both enjoyed gardening and took as active part in church
  work. They had belonged to the Woodbine Methodist Church. They had two sons -
  Leslie and Clifford - and a daughter, Mary Kiem. Clifford lives in Woodbine.
  Leslie retired from farming but still lives on the farm south of Woodbine. In
  1971, due to poor health, Edmond and phoebe moved into the Mid-America Nursing
  Home in Abilene. Phoebe passed away on June 7, 1973. Edmond passed away September 
  15, 1974.
