Mike and Pat (Ingalsbe) Fells
Mike was born September 29, 1958 the oldest child of Jim and Phyllis Fells.
Mike moved to Woodbine with his parents in December 1959. He attended the
Woodbine Grade School and the Hope High School. Mike graduated with the class
of 1976 from the Chapman High School. He also attended Manhattan Vo-Tech, and
graduated with the class of 1977 in welding. Mike's folks had a large garden
which consisted of six lots on the east edge of Woodbine, he ehlped plant and
tend. Any extra produce that was grown he sold to the neighbors. He mowed yards,
deliverd the Salina Journal and helped local farmers during harvest and hay
season to earn money. Mike liked to be outdoors; he liked to hunt, fish and
ride motorcycles.
Mike met Pat in Manhattan. They were married December, 1979. They lived in
the Woodbine area for several years before moving to Salina. They have four
daughters Jennifer, Michele, Christy and Kelly.
Mike works for Tony's in the fabrication department at Salina and Pat teaches
special education in the Salina school system.
