Clarence Gugler
Clarence Gugler, the second son of Charles and Anna Livengood Gugler, was
born on the farm northwest of Woodbine December 5, 1907. He went to school at
Liberty Center and Woodbine High School. He married Estella Cleveland May 12,
1935 at Clay Center. They made their home in Woodbine. Clarence worked for
Beech Aircraft Company for many years and also served in World War II.
Estella, the daughter of Herbert and Letha Cleveland, was born July 5,
1907 in Wymore, Nebraska. She worked as a nurse in the Herington Hospital for
29 years until she retired.
Clarence died February 2, 1965 and Estella April 24, 1976. Both are
buried at Woodbine. Clarence was a brother of Mildred Schindel, Margaret Gunter
and Curtis Gugler, who all live in Woodbine.
