Clifford and Irene Gugler were married October 4, 1928. Cliff as
  everyone know him was born near Woodbine, January 11, 1908. He was the
  son of Charles and Anna Gugler. Irene was born near Diamond Springs on
  April 1, 1904 the daughter of William and Anna Johnson. Cliff farmed and 
  worked some for Stanard Oil Co. during the slack season. He retired from
  farming and moved to Woodbine in January, 1966. He drove a Woodbine school
  bus for many years. After leaving that job he was a street maintenance man
  for the city.
       Irene served as city clerk for ten years when they moved into Woodbine.
  Irene went to grade and high school and also taught school in Woodbine. Cliff
  passed away March 10, 1980.
