born June 25, 1912 and Lora Rohloff, born January 19, 1920, was the youngest
of William and Anna Lawrenz Rohloff family. Milton and Lora were married
January 19, 1939 at Salina, Kansas. They were the parents of two sons, Robert
Allen and Royal Dean. They lived on a farm northwest of Woodbine until they

Milt and Lora have always taken pleasure in good cattle and horses. They
enjoyed showing horses at fairs and rodeos or just for the many visitors at
the farm. In the eleven months after their marriage, there were 2276 people
that visited at the farm.
Milt and Lora, along with their son Robert, own 1033 acres of good "Flint
Hills" grass and have a herd of Angus cows. In 1985 they won the first Grass
Management award ever offered in Chase County by the Soil Conservation Service.
This award is given for controlled grazing, control of trees, brush and weeds
and measures to control erosion.
Robert lives in Wichita and has one son, Travis Dean, born October 29, 1974.
Robert is an electronic technician.
Royal was born May 4, 1947 and was a senior at Florence High School when
he died in a tragic automobile accident, December 27, 1964.
Visitors are always welcome at their home located near Cedar Point.
