Amy Ford, daughter of Rowe and Margaret Garrett, married Shane Jones in 1984
  at the Woodbine United Methodist Church. Shane is the son of Gene and Freida Jones
  of Colby, Kansas. He has two sisters, Peggy and Pam. Shane graduated from Colby
  High School and Bethany College in Lindsborg. He worked in the Medicine Lodge, KS
  United Methodist Church as an education/youth director before he and Amy were
  married. He remained there one year more.
       Amy was born November 10, 1962, in Newton, Kansas. She attended grade school
  at Woodbine, graduating from twelfth grade at Chapman. She attended Bethany College
  two years.
       Amy and Shane lived in Medicine Lodge one year where Amy worked as an aide to
  the special education teacher.
       In 1985 they moved to Lawrence where Shane is completing a masters in social
  work and Amy is studing music education.
       Amy was active in church youth fellowship and Jolly Jayhawkers 4-H Club.
