Gaylen Kickhaefer, son of Amanda Timm Kickhaefer and Herman Kickhaefer, 
  married Carol Gillett in 1960. Carol is the daughter of James H. and Thelma
  Gillett and was born September 17, 1940. Gaylen and Carol live near Woodbine
  and farm and raise livestock.
       Gaylen and Carol both attended school in Woodbine and are graduates of 
  Woodbine High School.
       Their children are: Gail, born in 1960, lives in Woodbine, and has a 
  son Eric; Todd, born in 1961, lives in Herington; Van, born in 1963 and died
  in 1976; Cindy, born in 1964, is attending school at Marymount in Salina,
  Kansas; Debbie born in 1970; and Nancy born in 1975.
