Mr. Kinderdick was one of the first white settlers in the area. He
  was a member of the State Militia and was frequently called away for days
  at a time to help quiet uprisings among the Indians.
       The Kinderdick children who lived to adulthood were: Henry F. married
  Sena Asling March 12, 1891; Amelia, married Richard Missing and lived in
  Englewood, Colorado; Lydia, married Charles Asling, September 8, 1892; Clara
  Alice, born August 13, 1881 in Woodbine, married Rev. William H. Fletcher;
  Emma, married John Nusz, February 14, 1889; Frank E., married Ida Asling
  October 18, 1894; Louis Martin, born April 20, 1908, married Nellie Belle
  Hersh.
