Herman A. Knopp
Herman and Frances Book KNopp and their four children, Burton, Eugene,
Norma and Ruby, lived on the farm near Liberty Center School where Herman
spent his childhood until Frances' death in 1964. Later Herman moved to a
house in Woodbine where he lived until his death in 1973. There are five
grandchildren.
Herman served on the Liberty Center School Board. Frances was active
in the Woodbine Methodist Church.
Burton married Neva Bell, a Woodbine High School alumna, and they
lived in Utah for about twenty years until his death in 1974. Neva still
resides in Tooele, Utah. There are two children, Paula and Michael.
Gene and Jean Connors Knopp live in Trenton, New Jersey. He is now
retired from the Prudential Insurance Company. They have one daughter, Karen.
Norma married Henry (Gus) Knackstedt who died in 1972. Gus, Colonel, US
Army (Retired), had an office in Woodbine in connection with the watershed
program. Norma now lives in Junction City.
Ruby resided in Milford, Kansas with her husband, William Rock, until
her death in 1983. They have two children, Anthony and Linda.
