Angus McCoy
Angus McCoy, the son of John and Rachel McCoy, was born May 6, 1875 near
Olathe, Kansas. He moved to Clay Center in 1880 with his family and there
married Effie Parker February 10, 1897. In 1905 they moved to a farm north of
Woodbine where they lived until their retimrement in 1944. Their home was
where Vernice Laudemann lives. They were the parents of Willare, Nina Crisp,
Wilbur, and Naomi Biegert.
Angus passed away February 7, 1948 and Effie passed away September 5,
1957. Both are buried in Woodbine cemetery. Angus was the brother of Robert,
Herbert, Gertrude Chapman, and Lula Goodnight.
