Cynda was born December 3, 1960; the oldest daughter of Jim and Phyllis Fells.
She attended Woodbine grade school and graduated from Chapman High School with
the class of 1979. During Cynda's school years she delivered the "Salina Journal"
for six years and worked as a waitress at the Woodbine Inn on weekends and during
  the summer.
Cynda had a great love for animals, especially horses. After graduation Cynda
worked as a secretary in Junction City.
She met Earl in Woodbine. They were married in April 1987. They lived in
Junction City until htey found a farm house north of Woodbine to live in.
After Earls tour of duty with the United States Army he worked for a contractor
until he bought his own truck. He owns and operates Earl Risser Trucking Service.
Woodbine was a nice town to grow up in. We had wonderful neighbors; if we needed
anything they were always willing to lend a helping hand.
