Johan Rohloff
Johan and Sophia Erickson Rohloff arrived in the United States around
1866. Both are from Germany. They wre married at Whitewater, Wisconsin October
12, 1872. They came to Kansas in early 1877.
They are the parents of Henry who married Clara Rindt and had six children.
August Rohloff of Woodbine is a son. Herman married Mary Gruber and had five
children. Their son Alvin lives south of Woodbine.
Johan's wife Sophia died in 1882. In 1883 he married Wilhelmine Schultz.
She had a son Fred.
Children of Johan and Wilhelmine were Caroline who married Reinhard Pufahl.
Sophia married Friebert Will; they had five children and lived near Herington
all their lives. Bertha who married Henry Laudemann, had 11 children. Karl,
who married Mary Strickbine, had three children, who all live at Herington.
They lived in the house where Holloways now live in Woodbine.
