Ron moved to Woodbine in 1974 with his family. Ron's father was near retirement
  at Fort Riley and liked this community to locate his family.
       Upon retirement the family moved to Indiana, except Ron. He enjoyed living here
  and decided to stay and go to Hope High School. While going to school he lived with
  the Leonard Smith family and Emil and Mary Wicklund. After graduation in 1976 Ron
  started working full time at the Woodbine Co-op Elevator. ron and Mary Sue Roller 
  (Davis) were married on August 15, 1981. In April 1982 Ron became the manager of
  the Woodbine Co-op. They presently have a daughter, Julie Christine, who was born
  August 23, 1983.
