Having retired, Mr. and Mrs. F.O. Schmidt moved to Woodbine in 1932 to the 
  house where Harold Jones now lives.
       They enjoyed gardening and growing flowers. They were members of the Woodbine
  Methodist Church. They took part in and enjoyed all of the activities of the church.
       F.O. Schmidt and Emma Gugler were married may 29, 1894 and were the parents of
  six children.
       F.O. Schmide was born in Germany in 1872 and died in 1961. Emma Gugler Schmidt
  was born in Dickinson County in 1875 and died February 12, 1975. They are buried in
  the Mt. Hope Cemetery at Enterprise.
