Phillip Schoap and Marie Weidderman were married in 1880. Phillip was born in
  1857. Maria was born in Russia, March 8, 1862.
       In May of 1891 Mr. and Mrs. Schoap came to America and made their home in
  Woodbine, where Mr. Schoap was a blacksmith. They came from Russia.
       Mr. and Mrs. Schoap had twelve children. Mrs. Freeman (Mary) Livengood was
  one of their children and lived in Woodbine all her life.
       Mrs. Elizabeth Frederick was another daughter and after retiring in Kansas
  City came to Woodbine with her sister Clara McDonald, also retired, and lived in
  their parents' home.
       Phillip Schoap passed away July 8, 1905. Mrs. Schoap (Maria) died May 21, 1924.
