Gilbert Timm

       Gilbert Timm, son of August and Bertha (Staatz) Timm, was born January 16, 1895,
  northwest of Woodbine in the Liberty Center Community. He married Gertrud Kniebel,
  daughter of Fred and Anna (Koepsel) Kniebel, on February 5, 1922.
       Gertrud was born September 22, 1901, near Latimer. They lived on the family farm,
  when they married, August having moved to Council Grove. Bertha had died in 1915.
       Gilbert and Gertrud had five children: Ivanlee, Ardell, Lester, Delbert, and Lois.
  They attended the Liberty Center School until it burned down when it was struck by
  lightning. They all graduated from Woodbine High School. Ivanlee lives at Rogers, 
  Arkansas. He is retired but formerly was employed at Wal-Mart. Ardell (Mrs. Bob Wylie)
  lives in Abilene. Lester lives in Salina and is employed by the city. Delbert lives in 
  Wichita and works for Boeing Aircraft. Lois (Mrs. James Ekern) lives in North Glen,
  Colorado. Gilbert passed away in 1966. Gertrud lives in Woodbine, having moved there
  after Gilbert's death.
