Rodney W. Timm was born July 2, 1947. He attended grade school in Woodbine
  and graduated from high school at Chapman in 1965. He played center on the
  Chapman basketball team; they were 1965 State Champions. He went to Fort Hays
  State University where he graduated in 1969. He then joined the Army where he
  served in Vietnam and Germany before being discharged in 1972. He married Trudy
  McCaslin in 1973; they have two children, William Joseph and Donella. They now
  live in Dodge City where he has his own insurance agency.
