Charles F. Wendt was the son of Theresa Wendt. Charlie, as he was better
  known, lived on his parents' farm south of Woodbine. He married Selma Kohls. 
  They had three sons, Lynn, Loren and Ron. Lynn and Loren attended school in
  Woodbine before moving, with their parents, to California in 1941. Selma 
  passed away in 1978 and Charles now lives in Plott's Rest Home in Ontario
  California.
       Loren, son of Charlie, is a magician and will be part of Woodbine's
  Centennial program.
