Kermit Westrup

       Kermit (Chet) Westrup was born in Woodbine, son of Louis and lUella (Brehm) Westrup.
  He graduated from Woodbine High School in 1928. Kermit married Mildred Engel in 1930.
  Kermit and Mildred celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary August 31, 1980.
       Kermit and MIldred lived in Clay Center for two years then living in Lincolnville
  until moving to Woodbine in 1941. While living in Woodbine, Kermit (CHet) served as mayor.
       Their daughter Kay was born in Lincolnville in 1935. Kay attended Woodbine schools
  and graduated from Kansas University in 1957. She is married and lives in Clovis, California.
  She has two daughters.
       Kermit and Mildred moved to Abilene in 1965. Kermit worked for International Harvester
  Machinery and is still selling machinery. He lives in Abilene.
