I am back. Plum Creek School was S.D. #38(Cowley County). Attached is a jpeg of a page in the Clerk's Record for work in 1895 and 1896. The clerk for this School District was Henry Trobaugh and he was elected 25 Jul 1894 and his term expired 25 Jul 1897. The first entry on the page was the teacher. Unfortunately, my scanner only does 8-1/2 X 11 and her pay was cut off. Anyhow, it was $37.50 for the month. Item # 16 concerns my Ggrandfather T. L. Thompson(who lived about 1 mile SW). He was paid $6.73 for printing and work on school property. My grandmother and her brothers and sisters went to this school. 3 of their cousins taught here around WWII.Lynn Pipher
