Willow Branch, District #55, began November 16, 1878, on one acre of land purchased from E. B. Prindle for $100.00. The school closed in 1967.
In addition, my husband and his sister went to Willow Branch school in Miami County, Kansas. The photo with the car is my husband at Willow Branch school in Miami County. Maxine Harris taught at the same school for 20+ years.
