Oh yes, the Keene School was in Wabaunsee County, Kansas. It located in Keene, Kansas on Hwy. 4. It was located across from what was the Keene General Store. It was still in operation in the 1950's or early 1960's. It was closed when enrollment dropped. The old school was sold in the 1980's and moved into Dover. Will send pictures from booklet put together after closing.
Steve, I have the booklet that was put together after the Keene School closed on May 29, 1961. Sixteen pages of pictures and five pages of ads from business in Eskridge and Maple Hill, Kansas. I had it stored away in a trunk and took a while to find.
