Looking through the listing of Kansas one room country schools I couldn't find the country school my brother, cousin, and myself attended on the Pottowatami Indian Reservation approximately 6 miles from Mayetta. The name of the school was Wichewah and the teacher was Ms. Nellie Ramage. I know she was teaching there in 1944 when my brother attended and know she taught there in 1954 when I graduated from the 8th grade.
