Acts of the Apostles

CE'PTU II. Chapter 2
Pic e'kishkuk PIntikast wikwtowun kaocItsak, caye'k kimsote'e'k kimaoce'‘tik mamwInkoci. 1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2:2 IcI ka‘w kiwcI pie'mkItnI notakwsIwun shpumuk ke'cwa e'ki cI wishkanmuk, ipi kimosh kIne'se'nI caye'k shi wikwamuk kacI cipitupwat. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
2:3 Owaptanawa se'knInwaknIn ne'swakwianuk ke'cwa shkote', ipi nankot e'tshowat kite'nI wiwuwak. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
2:4 Ipi caye'k okimoshkIne'shkakwan ni PankwsIt Cipam icI kiwe'pkakikitok pkan kinowe'k kashu minkowat OcipamIn. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
2:5 Kite'kcI ipI CInose'ne'muk Cwiuk me'noshuwe'pse'cuk nInwuk e'tsoshumowat shotI kik kiwcIpie'k mtunmuk shpumuk. 5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
2:6 IcI otI kanotmoat, pnoc kamaoce'ticutk kipie'maoke'tik? ipi kimamkate'ntumwut os am e'tshIt nInI okinotwawan e'kikitonIte'shumot. 6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
2:7 Caye'kcI kimamkate'ntumwuk, ipi pkan okine'mawan otIcI kishItwuk, PInI coe'I kotI caye'k kakitocuk Ke'nIni nInwuk? 7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
2:8 TInicI e'shnotwukon e'tshIt nInI, e'ki ie'i nowe'ikon kashu nikiiIkon. 8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
2:9 Pe'tie'nuk, ipi Mitiuk, ine'mituk ipi ki e'tacuk shi MIsopote'miuk, ipi shi Cwtie'uk, Kpe'toshie'uk shi Pantusuk ipi E'shie'uuk, 9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,

2:11 E'nitniuk, ipi E'ne'pie'niuk knotwamIn e'kikitowat e'shumie'kon o oimamkate'nta kwIwun Kshe'mIne'ton. 11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.
2:12 Ipi caye'k ki mamkate'ntumwuk ipi kikwinwune'ntumwuk otIcI kishItwuk, we'kwnicI otI we'cnom Kuk? 12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?
2:13 AnItcI okinaptotwawan kItwuk, kotIsI nInwuk Omoshkne'shkakwnawa wshkI shomnapo. 13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.
2:14 NIshcI Pitu akiwickapwutwan ni mtatso shItnkot okiknonan otI okinan; kinwa e'tshI nIniwie'k Cwtie'uk, ipi caye'k kinwa, e'taie'k Cinose'ne'muk otI kuke'ntmok, ipi psItumok notI nkikitoonIn, 14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
2:15 Cowi kotI kiwIshkwe'pie'sik i e'ne'nme'k o samkIni nsotpukIn e'kwokishkiwuk. 15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.
2:16 OtIsi ie'i katuk nakanacimot Cowun; 16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
2:17 OtI ke'nomkuk pic wishkwakishkiwuk kItwak Kshe'mIne'to NkIsikna ncipam kwIciukwan caye'k wias, ipi kokwIswak, ipi kitansu’wak knikanacimok, ipi ktoshInunwe'mwak kukwsaptumwuk ipi ktukwe'simawak oke'iapwatanawa iapwe'wunIn. 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God,I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
2:18 Ipi npumitakaimuk, ipi ntupa’nkwe'imuk nkIsiknumwak ncipamIn niw e'kishkiwuk icI knikanacimok. 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
2:19 Ipi nkuwaptuwe' mamkate'ntumwunIn shi shpumuk kishkok, ipi mataoshuwe'psuwun shotI kik namiukwan, mskwI, ipi shkote', ipi ke'c pkwe'ne'k. 19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
2:20 Ipi kisIs kukiskupkoniawapkIse', ipi tpukisIs kumskwiwe' e'pwamshupiamkuk i kcIkishIk, ipi omiuk kukishkom Kshe'mIne'to. 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:
2:21 KnomkItcI we'kwe'ntuk ke'wawitmowakwe'n otInoswun Kshe'mIne'to kuke'skona. 21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
2:22 Isne'iuk e'tshI nIniwie'k psItmok notI kikitonIn Cisus Ne'sInI nInI kamnonwe'kot Kshe'mIne'to kamataototuk, ipi mamkate'ntumwunIn, ipi mataoshuwe'psuwunIn win Kshe'mIne'to katotuk shi wiwunuk me'kwe' nawe'nI kinwa ke'iapI kuke'ntanawa. 22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
2:23 Win kapkItnukasot kane'nmat ipi nikan kashuke'nmat Kshe'mIne'to, kinwa kautapne'k ipi kmIconIciwan kiskakwawa ipi kinsawa. 23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
2:24 Win Kshe'mIne'to kapsukwitmat kaiapskopitot, i wis ke'ntumwun shi upomuk, o samco otakshkumac konkosin shiw. 24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
2:25 Osam Te'pIt otI kItwak e'ki iacimot, nikan nkiwapma Kshe'mIne'to pIne'’ e'nasmupian shiuwak nte'pniw nak, e'wi pwamatpe'ian. 25 For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:
2:26 IwcI ie'i nte'’ kimnowankosimkIt ipi nse'knInwakIn kinciwe'nmomkIt wusimI ke'iapI ntuwiasum kInwashmomkIt shi pkose'nmowunuk. 26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:
2:27 Osam kin, cokInkinasi ncipam shi namkumuk, coke'kin kIne'nmasi panakwsIt Nkot e'wiwaptuk mpIshknInwun. 27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
2:28 KikInomowasha pmatse'ian kin kumoshkIne'sto’w papine'nmowun shi ktIshnakwsiwunuk. 28 Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
2:29 NInituk ipi nikane'ituk nocima we'we'nI kuknonum e'witshumuk, o osma Te'pIt iw e'kinpot, ipi e'kinkokasot, ipi i ocipe'okumuk e'ci iIikon te'nI otI e'kishkiwuk. 29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
2:30 Osam win e'iacimot ipi e'ke'ntuk Kshe'mIne'ton e'kie'tnamukot niw nicansun shiw otowiasmuk okaocI psukwitnan ni KnaystIn e'wi cipitupnIt shiw cipitupwunuk. 30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
2:31 Win nikane'kiwaptuk okitshItomowan e'wiapsishnInIt ni KnaystIn nike', ocipamIn, cokinkIc kasin shi namkumuk coke'i otowiasum co kiwaptusin mpIshknInwun. 31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
2:32 OtI Cisus Kshe'mIne'to kapsukwitnat ie'i kinan caye'k watmake'ikon. 32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
2:33 Iw ie'i ote'pniwnanuk Kshe'mIne'ton kapsukwitnukot ipi kaminkoni osIn kawawitmakot ni panakwsIncIn CipamIn kanitawe't iw nkom waptume'k ipi nwatme'k. 33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
2:34 Osam Te'pIt comshu shpumuk shiIsi nIshcI. win tpInwe' kIto, Te'pe'nke't okinan ni Te'pe'n mukwian, cipitupIn shotI nte'pniwnak. 34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
2:35 Nash kiw shu ukwa me'iane'nmukwiIn e'wipIste'piIn. 35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.
2:36 OtI cI ie'i caye'k otu wikwamwa Isne'iIn we'we'nI okuke'ntana Kshe'mIne'to okiwshuan oie'o Cisus kinwa kaskakwoe'k ne'ne'ish Te'pe'nke't ipi Knayst. 36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
2:37 Pic cI otI kanotmoat kiptukte'e'shke'k ipi otI okinawan ni PituIn, ipi ni anIt nwakanmIcIn NInituk ipi nikane'ituk we'kwnicI ke'totmukon. 37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
2:38 OtI cI Pitu okinan kisate'ntmok, ipi kcItapie'nkasok e'tshIie'k shiw tInoswunuk Cisus Knayst e'wi we'pnakoie'k ni kmIiashuwe'psiwnawan icI kuminkom i mikwe'wun o panakwsIt Cipam. 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
2:39 Osam i wawitmake'wun, kuwawitmakom, ipi ki ktupInoce'imowak ipi ki caye'k pnoc e'icIk; ke'iapI tso Te'pe'nke't Kshe'mIne'tomnan ke'ntomakwe'n. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
2:40 Ipi mce'sh pe'kankInkItwunIn, kiwitmake', ipi kikie'kwe', otI kikIto, kiskontIsok, shiw ki me'iashuwe'pse'cIk pmats cIk. 40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
2:41 Pic cI i kanciwe'nmocuk e'kiwtapnumwawat, iw kikitowun, kikcItapie'nkaswuk icI i e'kishkiwuk, nsuk mtatswak knIpIc kitshik. 41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
2:42 IcI kitotmok we'we'nI i nwakancuk ote'pwe'ie'ntumwunwa, ipi tpantuwun, ipi e'kipikupitowat pkwe'shkIn ipi e'numawat. 42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
2:43 Ipi se'ksowun, okiwtuskonawa e'tshuwat cipamwan, ipi mce'sh mamkate'ntumwunIn, ipi mataototmonIn kitotmok ki nwakancuk. 43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.
2:44 Ipi caye'k ki te'pwe'ie'ntukuk mamwI kiik; otIpInoe'wsiwnawa mamawI okitupe'ne'ntanawa. 44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
2:45 Ipi kitawe'k otIpnoe'usiwnawan, ipi otInkackInwan, icI e'ki swe'nmowawat, caye'k nInwun kashumne'snIt cak nInwun. 45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
2:46 Ipi pIne'‘ e'tso kishkItnuk e'kimsone'ntumwuk shi kcI nume'okumkok ipi okipikupitonawa pkwe'shkIn, e'tsunuk wikwame'n ipi okimicnawa micum shi mnowankoswunuk, ipi kinkotnInI ote'‘iwa. 46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
2:47 E'winwanawat Kshe'mIne'ton, ipi e'mnonwe'awat caye'k nIshInape'n, ipi Kshe'mIne'to okiianke'san ni te'pwe'ie'ntumnIcIn e'tsokiskItnuk; ki wake'skonkascuk. 47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
