KATOTMOAT KI NWAKANCIK
Acts of the Apostles

CE'PTU XV. Chapter 15
AnIt cI, nInwuk, kaocI piacuk Cwtie'uk, okiknomowawan, ni te'pwe'ie'ntumnIncIn, otI kikItwuk, KishpIn, i pwashI tpakwnIkoie'k, kashI we'psIt Mosus, coktake'skwisim. 1 And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.
15:2 IcI Pan, ipi Pe'ne'pe's, mce'sh okiInawa iakwne'tatwun okine'nmawan ni PanIn ipi Pe'ne'pe'sIn, ipi niw anIt pe'kansIn cIn, winwa, e'wishiawat shi Cinose'ne'muk, e'win natawawat ni nwakancIk, ipi nakanse'cIk; i natatwun. 2 When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question.
15:3 Kanmupitse'wat cI oki, ni shokumakwan, ni te'pwe'ie'ntumnIcIn, okinmIshapshkanawa Pinisuk ipi Se'me'niuk, e'witmake'wat e'te'pwe'ie'ntumnIt, ni Me'ikIsnIncIn icI kikcI papine'ntumwun ni caye'k wikane'iwan. 3 And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phenice and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren.
15:4 IwcI kapiawat shi Cinose'ne'muk, oki pitkInkowan ni te'pwe'ie'ntumnIncIn ipi ni nwakancuk, ipi ni nakansIncIn, icI okiwitmowawan, cak ke'ko Kshe'mIne'to, kaocukshke'osowat. 4 And when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received of the church, and of the apostles and elders, and they declared all things that God had done with them.
15:5 AnIt cI ki Pe'nisiuk, kate'pwe'ie'ntukuk kipsukwik, ipi otI kikItwuk, o wunItsI e'wi tpakwnItwa, ipi e'winakitawe'ntumwat i Mosus otpakwnuke'wun. 5 But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.
15:6 IcI ki nwakancIk, ipi koe'siuk kimaoce'tik e'winaktuwe'ntumwat otI wanomkuk. 6 And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter.
15:7 Pic, cI mce'shuk kaiakwne'tatwat, Pitu kipsukwi ipi otI okinan, NInituk, ipi nikane'ituk, kukuke'ntanawa pnowi, Kshe'mIne'to kiwwe'napmukonan nin, e'wi iactumwukwa i mnoacimowun ki Me'ikIscIk, ipi e'wite'pwe'ie'ntumwat. 7 And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.
15:8 Kshe'mIne'to ke' ke'ke'ntuk, ote'‘iman, win witokowan, ipi okiminan, ni PanakwsIn cIn CipamIn, kinan kashuminkoikon. 8 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;
15:9 Ipi co pkan okine'nmasin, ipi kinan, okipinakwtowan ni ote'‘inIn, i e'te' pwe'ie'ntumwat. 9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.
15:10 We'kwnicI we'c kwcItIpe'nme'k Kshe'mIne'to, e'wipiskotne'k napkumwakIn shiw kwe'knawak, ki te'pwe'ie'n tukuk, co ninan nkote'iI nosnanuk tanake' ninan e'wi kshkItoiak e'wipmo‘wtoiak. 10 Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?
15:11 NIshcI nte'pwe'ie'ntamIn, oshuwe'ncuke' wun, Te'pe'nke't, Cisus Knayst ninanke' nkuke'skonkomIn ke'cwa winwa. 11 But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.
15:12 IcI ki caye'k maoce'ticIk tokumkiik ipi okipsItwawan ni Pe'ne'pe'sIn, ipi PanIn, e'witmakwat, mataototmonIn ipi mamkate'ntumwunIn, Kshe'mIne'to kashI nishokmakwat, e'ciiInIt ni Me'ikIsnIncIn. 12 Then all the multitude kept silence, and gave audience to Barnabas and Paul, declaring what miracles and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles by them.
15:13 IcI kakish pwa ke'ko kItnIt Ce'ms okinkwe'twan, ipi otI kikIto, NInituk ipi nikane'ituk PsItwushuk. 13 And after they had held their peace, James answered, saying, Men and brethren, hearken unto me:
15:14 SImiun kishwitmaknan, Kshe'mIne'to ne'tum kashI otIsat ni Me'ikIsnIncIn e'wi otI otapnat nIshInape'n iw tInoswunuk. 14 Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name.
15:15 OtIsI ie'i nasap okikitonawa ki NakanacimocIk e'shpie'kate'k; 15 And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written,
15:16 Kikish otI nomkuk minI nkupie'kiwe' ipi nkaoshIton minI e'tat Te'pIt, kapmukote'k; ipi nkukishton i kanshonacak, ipi nku‘onakwsIton. 16 After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up:
15:17 Ipi ki anIt nInwuk, e'wintone'wawat ni Kshe'mIne'to, ipi ki caye'k, Me'ikIscIk ntInoswun wawitkuk kItwak Kshe'mIne'to e'totkuk caye'k notI ke'ko. 17 That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things.
15:18 Kshe'mIne'to okike'ntan caye'k niw omikce'wiwnIn e'kowe'pkiwuk. 18 Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.
15:19 Osam cI otI we'cshIte'aian, e'wipwam mkoshkacikwukon, ki Me'ikIscIk kakwe'knoitwacIk Kshe'mIne'ton. 19 Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God:
15:20 NIshcI ktaonupie'mowamIn, e'wi pwa shiawat wansincIn, ni me'ntokasnIncIn ipi, waonIshkawun, ipi, Ke'pne'we'shkamkuk ipi mskwI. 20 But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.
15:21 Mosus ke' isha e'tsInuk kcI otanIn kiw anIt okimnwactmakon iw otpakwnuke'wun, wapcIkate' shi msInukInuk, nume'okumkok e'tso nume'kishkuk. 21 For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.
15:22 IcI ki nwakancIk, ipi nakanse'cIk, ipi caye'k ki te'pwe'ie'ntukuk okimnwe'ntumwuk e'winokanawat we'napcIkasnIt ni nInwun winwa mamwI, e'wishianIt E'ntiakuk, e'wiwice'wanIt, PanIn, ipi Pe'ne'pe'sIn, kotI, Cwte's, ke'iapI kashInkasot Pe'se'pe's, ipi Sayne's, kanikanse'cIk, nInwuk, shi mamwI wikane'iwan. 22 Then pleased it the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas, and Silas, chief men among the brethren:
15:23 Okiw nIpie'anawan cI mIsInuknIn, otI kinIpie'ke'k, NwakancIk, ipi nakanse'cIk, ipi, wikane'iwan, onitaawan numkatwun ni wikane'iwan Me'ikIscIk shi e'icIk, E'ntiakuk ipi shi Sinie'uk, ipi Sinishie'uk; 23 And they wrote letters by them after this manner; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia:
15:24 Osam nkinotake'mIn, anIt ninan shotI kaocI maciwat kimkoshkasmukwak niw kikitonIn, kiwie'shtmakwak cipamwak otI e'kItwat, kinwa kItpakwnukom ipi kInaktIwe'ntawa i tpakwnuke'wun, coninan, i nkishI kie'kmasimIn. 24 Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:
15:25 We'we'nI nkine'ntamIn e'maoce'tiak, e'nkotuk, ntIshte'onInan, e'wi ipI kinwa shIn nokankIt, we'napcIkascuk, nInwuk, e'ciiIie'k, e'wiwice'wawat te'pankon Pe'ne'pe's, ipi Pan: 25 It seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,
15:26 NInwuk, kaianmItowat opumatsiw nowan, otInoswunuk, Te'pe'nmukwie'kon Cisus Knayst, kaocI ishowe'psowat. 26 Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15:27 OtI ie'i we'c nokankIt Cwte's, ipi Sayne's, winwa, ke' ke'iapI kuwitmakwak nasap notI ke'ko shiw otoniwak. 27 We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who shall also tell you the same things by mouth.
15:28 We'we'nI, kine'ntum PanakwsIt Cipam ipi ninan, e'witotme'k notI ke'ko, tashI owunuk e'witomuk. 28 For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;
15:29 E'wi pwamicie'k, wias, kamintwa me'ntokascuk, ipi mskwiik ipi ke'ko kakpe'ne'we'shkamkuk, ipi pshukwat sowun, kishpIn notI pwatotme'k kumnototam We'we'nI ktIne'nmInmIn. 29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.
15:30 Pic, cI kapkItnItwa, kishie'k, shi E'ntiakuk, icI pic kamaosomawat ni maoce'tincIn ki mikwe'k, o mIsInukIn. 30 So when they were dismissed, they came to Antioch: and when they had gathered the multitude together, they delivered the epistle:
15:31 IcI kakishwaptumwat i mIsInukIn kimnowankoswuk, i kashu mnoacimonIt. 31 Which when they had read, they rejoiced for the consolation.
15:32 Osam cI, Cwte's, ipi Sayne's, nakanacimocuk winwa, okiakwamawan ni wikane'iwan, mce'sh kikitonIn, ipi okiwishkumawan. 32 And Judas and Silas, being prophets also themselves, exhorted the brethren with many words, and confirmed them.
15:33 IcI shi kakishiIwat, nomuk, we'we'nI okip kIte'nmukwan ni wikane'iwan, icI e'kishiawat ni nwakancuk. 33 And after they had tarried there a space, they were let go in peace from the brethren unto the apostles.
15:34 Ki ianwI mnwe'ntuk Sayne's, shie'witat. 34 Notwithstanding it pleased Silas to abide there still.
15:35 Pan ke'iapI, ipi Pe'ne'pe's, kiik shi E'ntiakuk e'kInomake'wat, ipi e'mnwactumwat okikitowun Kshe'mIne'to, ipi ki anIt pe'kanse'cIk, ke'winwa. 35 Paul also and Barnabas continued in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with many others also.
15:36 IcI kaonatsokwnuktInuk, Pan, otI okinan, Pe'ne'pe'sIn, Shi atan minI, ipi owawapmatan kikane'nanuk, shi e'tsuk, kcI otanIn, katshI, mInwactumwukon okikitowun Kshe'mIne'to; ipi e'wiwapmukon e'shwe'psuwat. 36 And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, and see how they do.
15:37 Pe'ne'pe's cI kine'ntum e'wi wice'wawat CanIn ke'iapI e'shnukasot Mak. 37 And Barnabas determined to take with them John, whose surname was Mark.
15:38 NIshcI Pan, cowunse'non kine'ntum e'wi wice'wawat, okinknancI shi Pe'mpinie'uk cocI okiwice'wasin, e'wi mikce'winIt. 38 But Paul thought not good to take him with them, who departed from them from Pamphylia, and went not with them to the work.
15:39 CocI kimnwe'ntusik iwcI, kaocI papke'wat, icI Pe'ne'pe's, okiw i ce'wan MakIn SaypnIsuk cI ki kinashwuk. 39 And the contention was so sharp between them, that they departed asunder one from the other: and so Barnabas took Mark, and sailed unto Cyprus;
15:40 IcI Pan, okiwe'napman, Sayne'sIn, icI kakish matmowawat, Kshe'mIne'to oshuwe'ncIke'wIn, ni wikane'iwan, kin mumacik. 40 And Paul chose Silas, and departed, being recommended by the brethren unto the grace of God.
15:41 IcI e'kishiat Sinie'uk, ipi Sinishie'uk, e'wishke'e'ntumoat ni te'pwe'ie'ntumnIncIn. 41 And he went through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the churches.
