MNAOCIMOWUN KAONUPIE'UK-O ME'TO.
Gospel According to Matthew

CE'PTU VI. CHAPTER 6.
IKWAMSUK e'wipwamnototwe'k e'nasmupwat nInwuk e'wiwapmne'k ie'i ke'pwaocI mnototone'k Koswa shpumuk e'iIt kishkok. 1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
6:2 IwcI ie'i pic mnototake'n ke'kowi nikan notakwtoke'n pe'pkwe'iak e'shcuke'wat, e'nume'kascuk e'totkuk nume'okumkok; ipi niw otan mie'we'n e'wimnowacimukwat nInwun.--We'we'nI Kuwitmonum ote'ionawa otIp‘okse'onowa. 2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
6:3 Pic cI mnototake'n, Ke'kowi knumciwun okuke'ntusin kte'pniwun e'shcuke'mkuk. 3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:
6:4 Iw cI niw kmnototake'wun e'witotmIn kimoc, ipi oie'o Kos wapItanIn pwawapcikate'nuk winie'k kuminuk ke'wapcIkate'nuk. 4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
6:5 Pic cI numan ke'kowi shIcke'kIn ke'cwa kiw e'nume'kascIk; ome'nwe'ntanawa e'numawat e'nipwawat, otI num-e'o kumkomwak, ipi otanuk mie'wuk e'pmIwawikwe'anuk e'wiwapmukwat nIniwun. We'we'nI KtInum ote'ionawa otIp‘okse'onowa ne'twe'ntumwat. 5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
6:6 Pic cI kin wi numan pitike'n e'cI pitokInikate'k icI ke'cI kupakwa‘mIn shkwate'm, nume'kito‘w Kos kimoc e'iIt; ipi o Kos wiapmuk kimoc kutupamak, e'wiwapmukon. 6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
6:7 Pic cI numan ke'kowi pIne'‘ nasap, kItke'kon ke'cwa Me'ikIscIk e'totmoat, winwashIte'-e'k ninan nkupsItakomIn, mce'she'kItiak. 7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
6:8 Ke'kowi kinwa shIcke'ke'k e'shcike'wat winwa, okuke'ntankwshI Koswa ne'twe'ntme'k e'pwanshIn ntotmowe'k. 8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
6:9. OtIsI ktashI matumawa; Nosnan e'in shpumuk kishkok, ke'cne'ntakwuk ktIshnukaswun, 9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
6:10 Kto kumau’wun kupie'mkIt. Nocma kte'ne'ntumwun knomkIt shotI kik, ke'cwa shpumuk kishkok. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
6:11. MishInak otI nkom e'kishkiwuk e'tso kishkuk, e'shwisIniak. 11 Give us this day our daily bread.
6:12 Ipi pone'ntumwIshnak mIsnukInanIn ninanke' e'shpone'nmukIt me'citotmoiImIt, mIsnumoiumke'shiIk. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
6:13 Ipi ke'ko shonIshikak ke'tshI kwcItipe'nmukoiak, otapInIshnak caye'k me'anuk; kin ktupe'ntan okumauwun, ipi kshke' e'wsuwun, ipi iw kcIne'ntakwsuwIn kakuk. E'me'n. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
6:14 KishpIn pone'ntumwe'k ninwuk, omuiiashtotmonawa, ke'iapukI Koswa shpumuk kishkok kupone'ntmakwa. 14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
6:15 KishpIn cI pwapone'ntumwe'k nInwuk omuashuwe'psiwnawa; CowikI Koswa kupone'ntumakwsiwa kmIiashuwe'psiwnawan. 15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
6:16 Pic cI pwawisnie'k ke'ko wishuwe'psuke'k, ke'cwa e'nume'kascuk e'kisasnakwsawat oshkishkowak e'miashtowat e'wine'nmukwat nInwun ie'i we'cpwawisnawat. We'we'nI otI KtInum, ote'ionawasI i otIp‘okso-onowa. 16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
6:17 Pic cI kin, pwawIsnin numukwin ktupik ipi ksikwan. 17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;
6:18 Ke'ocI pwamnone'nmukwiIn nInwuk e'pwawisnin mtInoie'k Kos e'ie't kimotsawunuk; ipi Kos waptuk, kimotsawun kuminIk ne'twe'ntumIn ke'cI we'pcIkate'nuk. 18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.
6:19 Ke'kowi twakInukatsoke'k ke'cpite'ntakwuk shotI kik, mIne'tosiuk ipi e'wikwakwnuk, e'wipnack, ipi ki ke'mote'iuk e'wipikpItowat e'wi kmotwat. 19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
6:20 MtIno twakInukatsok ktupnIo we'osiwnawan shi shpumuk e'cI pwaiawat, mIne'to se'iuk, cowike' ke'ocI kwakwnuk, e'cI pwapnacak, ipi ki ke'mote'iuk e'ci pwapikptaswat e'wi kmotwat. 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
6:21 Shi ie'shi ke'cIte'k ktupnowe'wsiwnawa ke'iapukI shi kte'iwa ke'cIte'k. 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
6:22 Wase'aswun otI kia‘w i ie'i kshkishuk; kishpIncI nkotuk kshkishuk caye'k kia‘w kawase'ia. 22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
6:23 KishpIn cI iw kshkishuk mianuk caye'k kia‘w kukiskupkonia. KishpIn cI iw wase'iak e'te'm kuk ki i wuk; kishpIn kiskupkoniak; knkicI pite'ntakwut iw e'kiskupkoniak. 23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
6:24 Cowi wIiI nInI otakshkItosin e'wite'pwe'twat nish te'pe'nmukwocIn; nkot e'iI otashikInman, icI niw nkot otatpanan ke'iapI niw nkot otamackonan, iwcI niw nkot otamiane'nman. Cowin ktakshkItosin e'wi ie'i pmitwat Kshe'mIne'ton, ipi Me'mun. 24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
6:25 NinsI otI KtInum, Ke'kowi pame'ntuke'kon kpumatsiwnuwam, we'kwe'ntIk ke'micwe'kwe'n, we'kwe'ntukie' ke'mnukwe'okwe'n, ipi iukwan kiwiwuwan; we'kwe'ntuke' ke'piskumwe'kwe'n, ConukwnI pmatsowun wusimI pite'ntakwse'non icI i micum, ipi cI iw wia‘w wusimI pite'ntakwut icI iw wapiskumuk. 25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
6:26 PInI kiw pne'shiuk pe'pamsakuk cowi otukikie'sik, cowike' okishksusinawa cowike' omaoton sinawan e'witowat micImaokumkok; ke'iapI shpumuk ktItshI Koswa otushman. ConI kinwa ktupite'ntakwsusim, wusimI icI winwa? 26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
6:27 We'nicI kinwa e'wi mikwe'ntume'k akshkItot nkot otoskwun wusimI e'wikosIt. 27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
6:28 We'kwnicI we'cmikwe'ntume'k paskume'konIn. Naktuwe'ntumok, ni wawaskone'toiun ktukanuk e'mikwukuk, cowimikice'wimke'snon, cowikI pimnukwe'mkIsnon. 28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
6:29 Ke'iapI cI, nin KtInum, Win Sane'mun kaye'k okIcne'ntakwsuwun, co kinapme'nakwsIsi ke'cwa notI nkot. 29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
6:30 KishpIn Kshe'mIne'to nukwinie'tot mishkoiun ktukanuk, nkom e'kishkiwuk, icI wapuk ke'ci pukicukate'k kpoce'skInuk, conukwunI nowuc win ktanukwnie'kosim, O pike'ci te'pwe'ie'ntume'k. 30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
6:31 Ke'kowi pame'ntuke'k otI e'wikItie'k; We'kwnicI ke'miciIkon? Ke'iapukI we'kwoni ke'mnukwe'ikon? Ke'iapukI wusimI we'kwoni ke'kwe'iak? 31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
6:32 OtI ie'i tpe'nwe'osuwun Me'ikIscIk kapme'nton e'mowat, iukwan suwi Koswa shpumuk, okuke'ntan waioie'k cak ke'ko. 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
6:33 Ne'tumsIe'k ntowaptmok otokumauwun Kshe'mIne'to, ipi ome'noshuwe'pse'wun, ipi cI cake'ko ke'anke'stakom. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
6:34 Ke'kocI pame'ntuke'k iw wapuk; iw wapuk ke'win kumikwe'nte'somkIt. Me'anuk e'kmukishuk ke'iImIn. 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
