CE'PTU XXI. Chapter 21.
PIC cI pe'shoc e'nme'iawat Cinose'numuk shi kapiawat Pe'pe'ciuk, shi e'pkotniak AnIpiuk, icI Cisus e'ki nokanat nish ke'knomowacIn; 1 And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples,
21:2 OtI cI okinan, Shiak sI shi otane'suk wusoci iukwan e'ie'k kie'nup cI kumkuwawa me'makshe' e'tkopsot, ipi ne'makshe'sun, e'wickapwItwat, iapskopinuk, icI ke'cI pie'twe'ie'k. 2 Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.
21:3 KishpIn cI wIiI nInI, ke'ko koie'k; otI knawa, Te'pe'nke't onItwe'nman, icI papuk kupkIte'ntumakwa. 3 And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.
21:4 Caye'ksI otI kitotam, e'wite'pwe'wunukuk kakitot Nakanacimot otI kItwak. 4 All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,
21:5 Witomouk otansun, Sayan, PInI kitokumam, kupie'naskak, kacwe'nmo e'pie'tomkot me'makshe'iIn, ipi me'makshe'sIn, we'nicansumacIn me'makshe'. 5 Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.
21:6 Kimacik cI ni ke'knomawacIn, icI kiwIshIcke'k Cisus kanat. 6 And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,
21:7 Okipie'nawancI ni me'makshe'iIn, ipi ni me'makshe'sIn, okitonawancI paskumwacIn; icI kwuciukwan e'ki cipitupawat. 7 And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon.
21:8 Ke'cmaoce'ticuk cI, okishuwe'ksItonawan opiskumwaknawan shi mie'wuk anItkI okikishktukwne'anawan ni mtukwe'n, icI e'kipukitowat shi mie'wuk. 8 And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.
21:9 IcI ki maoce'ticIk kanmI nikanicIk, ipi kanmupme'nashkawacuk, kinmI wishkwe'we'ksik, otI kikItwuk, Ke'skonwe'n We'kwIsmukwiIn, Te'pIt Mnawankose' o, pie'iat otunoswunuk Kshe'mIne'ton, Nocma kinwusimI ke'skonwe'n! 9 And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.
21:10 Pic kapiat shi Cinose'numuk; caye'k shi kaicuk kcI otanuk kimacik, otI kikItwuk, We'nicI otI? 10 And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?
21:11 KicI maoce'ticuk kikItwuk, Cisus sI otI Nakanacimot we'cpiat, Ne'se'nut iukwanuk Ke'niniuk. 11 And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.
21:12 Cisus cI kipitike', Kshe'mIne'to okIcnume'okumkok, okisakicuwe'pnancI, caye'k e'tawe'n cIn, ipi kashpInItasnIncIn, shi kcI nume'okumkok ipi okikwe'npowe'pnanIn ni topwonIn, e'icuk iashtonkuk shonia, ipi ki otuptie'pwunwan, e'tawe'cuk, ni mIne'to mimin. 12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,
21:13 OtI cI okinan, OtI kikishnupie'kate' e'taian kshInkate' e'tshu nume'okumuk; kinwa cI kmotiwkumuk kiwshItonawa. 13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
21:14 Ke'kie' pikwacuk, ipi me'akatacuk okipie'naskakon, shi kcInume'okumkok icI e'kine'se'at. 14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.
21:15 IcI ki kcI-me'matmocIk, ipi we'npie'ke'cIk kawapitumwawat, i kashumataocIke'nIt, ipi pInoce'iIn; e'wIshkwe'we'ksInIt shi kcI-nume'okumkok, ipi otI e'kItwat, Ke'skonwe'n We'kwIsmukwiIn o Te'pIt; icI kikcIn shke'ntumwuk. 15 And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the Son of David; they were sore displeased,
21:16 OtI cI okikon, KnotwaknukotI e'kItowat, icI Cisus otI okinan; E'; Conu wikakwaptIsinawa e'shpie'kate'k misInukIn; Shiw otoniwak ki pInoce'ie'k, ipi nwancuk, kitockishton kwiuk winwate'ntumwun. 16 And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?
21:17 OkinknancI, kiw cI maci shi kcIotanuk e'kishiat Pe'te'ne'iuk, icI shi e'kikIshIt. 17 And he left them, and went out of the city into Bethany; and he lodged there.
21:18 IcI e'kishie'pwunuk, ne'iap e'nmupiskat, e'shiat shi kcIotanuk kipkIte', 18 Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.
21:19 Pic cI e'wapmat kcI siwnokamIshe'n shiw kpumie'kIn, okinaskawan, cocI ke'ko okimkusin mtIno tukupukwe'n, otI cI okishitan, Cowi ka minI kumicImosi. IcI kie'nup kcI siwnokamIsh kinpopkIso. 19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.
21:20 IcI ki kiknomowacIn kawaptumwat, kimamkate'ntumwuk, otIcI kikItwuk, TInicI kie'nup otI kcI SiwnokamIsh e'sh npopkIsot. 20 And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away?
21:21 Cisus cI okinkwe'twan otI ikinan, We'we'nI ktInum, KishpIn ie'ie'k i te'pwe'we'ntumwun, ipi pwaianwe'ntusie'k, cowi otI kashIcke'sin, katotwut otI kcIsiwno kamIsh ike' kishpIn ke'itume'k otI e'pkotniak,KikshkansI, ipi wupukson shi kcukumik, ike'nomkuk. 21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
21:22 Ipi cak ke'ko we'kwe'ntuk ke'ntotmowe'kwe'n numaie'k, te'pwe'ie'ntume'k iwsu ke'shuminkoie'k. 22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
21:23 Pic cI kapitike't shi kcI-nume'okumkok, ki kcI me'matmocIk ipi ki oke'ctaosunmwan kinIshInape'k, kipie'naskakon, me'kwa e'ie'kinomake't, otI cI okinawan, TInipi we'tnumIn, otI wishkIswun otI e'shIcke'n? We'ni cI ke' kaminkon otI wishkIswun?. 23 And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority?
21:24 IcI Cisus okinkwe'twan otI cI okinan, Ninke' kInatonum nkot ke'ko; kishpIn cI witmoie'k, ninke' kuwitmonum we'tnuman otI wishkIswun we'ctotman. 24 And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things.
21:25 Iw kIctapie'nwe'wun o Can; tInipi cI we'piamkuk, shpumukinI tanake' nInik? IcI e'kinatatwat otI kikItwuk, KishpIn otI kItie'kon, shpumuk sI otI kukonan, TacIshIna kapwao cI te'pwe'twe'k. 25 The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him?
21:26 KishpIn cI kItie'kon; ni nInwun, kokwIsamIn ki nIshInape'k, osam caye'k ote'ne'nmawan ni CanIn ke'cwa nakanacimot. 26 But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet.
21:27 Okinkwe'twawan cI ni CisusIn, otI okinawan, co nkuke'ntusimIn; icI otI okinan; Cosu ke'nin ku‘witmosnonum, otI we'tnaman ot nwishkIswun we'k totman otI. 27 And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.
21:28 TInicI e'ne'ntume'k? Nkot nInI kinish win, okwIsun icI e'kinaskawIt, ni ke'ctaosincIn, otI cI okinan, NkwIs, wumikice'win e'kom e'kishkiwuk, shi nsiwonokamshI ktukanuk. 28 But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard.
21:29 Okinkwe'twan cI, otI okikon, Coin; icI shkIc kikisate'ntum, icI e'kishiat. 29 He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went.
21:30 Okinaskawan cI ni e'kacinIncIn, icI nasapkinan, icI okinkwe'twan otI okikon, NkIshia sI Nos, cocI kishie'si. 30 And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not.
21:31 We'nicI, ki nish kashIcke't osIn kashIntuwe'n mukot? OtI cI okinawan; Ke'ctaosItsI. Cisus cI otI okinan, We'we'nI ktInum, kimaocIke'onInwuk, ipi kiwaonIshkaiuk, kupitike'k otokumauwunuk Kshe'mIne'to kinwa e'pwamshu pitike'ie'k. 31 Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.
21:32 Can kipie' kuke'nakakwa i, we'we'nI shiwe'psowun, co cI nIsh kite'pwe'twasiwa; kicI wi maocIshke'onInwuk, ipi ki waonIshkaiuk kite'pwe'twawan, icI kinwa kakish waptume'k, co kikisate'ntusinI i e'wite'pwe'twe'k. 32 For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him.
21:33 PsItumok, minI nkot iacimowIn, Ke'iapI nkot we'towikwamIt kaktukatuk, siwnokamIsh ktukan, ipi okiwakaan, kiwtaiukwan, ipi okiwankatan watsho oshItot shomnapo, ipi kiwshIton wikwam e'shpianuk, okiwaancI ktukie'wunInwan, icI pe'noc e'ki shumacit, otanuk. 33 Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country?
21:34 Cikiaukwan cI pic e'wikishkInuk i micum, okinokanan opmitakiamIn e'ci iInIt ni ktukie' onInwun e'wi wtapnumwat i micum. 34 And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it.
21:35 KicI ktukie' onInwuk okimshunawan, niw opmitakaimIn, nkot cI ni okipsItie'wawan, icI nkot cI niw okinsawan, ipi nkot sInie'n okipkamawan. 35 And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.
21:36 MinI pe'kansIncIn, okinokanan opmitakaimIn wusimI ni kitshin, icI ni ne'tum nasap cI, ke' niw kitotwawan. 36 Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise.
21:37 Shkwe'iak cI, okinokanan ni okwIsun, otI cI kikIto, Okupite'nmawan sI nkwIsun. 37 But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.
21:38 Pic cI ki ktukie' onInwuk kawapmawat ni okwIsnInIn otI kinItwuk, OtI sie'o shakwune't; aw nsatan, kinan cI ke'tpe'ntamIn i te'pe'ntukipIn. 38 But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance.
21:39 IcI e'kimshInawat, ipi okisakcIwe'pInawan shi siwnokam shI ktukanuk, icI e'kinsawat. 39 And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him.
21:40 Pic cI pie't te'pe'ntuk i siwnokamshI ktukan; tInicI ke'napnInat notI ktukie' onInwun, 40 When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen?
21:41 OtI cI okinawan, okukokwansukIne'nan sI ni mcInInwun pe'kansIncIn ni ktukie' onInwun okuwuan i siwnokamshI ktukan, ke'monkocIn i micum e'tso kishkInuk. 41 They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.
21:42 Cisus cI otI okinan, ConI wika otI kiwatusinawa mIsInukInuk, I sIn kiwe'shke'cuk kaianwe'ntumwat iw ie'i ke'ne'tmIsuk shi e'wikwe'iak. Kshe'mIne'to sIiw otIshcIke'wun kumamkasaptamIn cI. 42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?
21:43 Iw sI otI we'cne'nkon otokumauwun, Kshe'mIne'to, kuotapnamakom icI kuminak ki nIshInape'k ke'pie'tocuk i micumowun. 43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
21:44 We'kwe'ntuk cI ke'pmukocnokwe'n shi sInik, kupikwshIn, ipi we'kwe'ntuk cI ke'tsoskwe'n, kupisposo. 44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
21:45 Pic cIki, kcI-me'matmocIk onInwuk, ipi Pe'nisiuk, kanotmoat ni iacmonIn, okikuke'ntanawa, winwa e'kowat. 45 And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.
21:46 Pic cI wamshInawat okikwsawan, ni maoce'tincIn Nakanacimot Osam winwa okine'nmawan. 46 But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet.
