Potawatomi Prayers and Hymns
These prayers are taken from the Catholic prayer book prepared by Maurice Gailland, S.J. and published in 1866. We show the Potawatomi and English versions side by side. Note that the English is the traditional prayer, not a word for word translation of the Potawatomi, which may differ in sentence structure, grammar and vocabulary.
